People, Operations, and Technology—Working Together Where It Matters

American Automation Services supports complex, high-stakes environments with integrated security and operational teams trusted in airports, data centers, enterprise campuses, public institutions, and cultural venues. Our work focuses on one thing: keeping people safe, environments moving, and operations predictable under real-world pressure.

A History of Innovative Solutions

For more than 25 years, American Automation Services (AAS) has worked inside environments where reliability isn’t optional and small mistakes can have wide impact — airports moving millions of passengers, multi-acre construction sites, high-security facilities, enterprise campuses, and public spaces that serve entire communities.

What we’ve learned is that these environments don’t need louder security or more layers of tools. They need steady execution and clear accountability on the ground. That comes from:

  • People who bring judgment, communication, and a service mindset
  • Operational oversight that keeps safety, movement, and accountability aligned
  • Technology that supports visibility, documentation, and informed decisions

AAS was founded in 2001 as a technology and automation company, building and integrating systems for clients who needed reliability in critical environments. As those environments became more complex, our role expanded to support not just systems, but live operations where people, movement, and safety intersect.

Over the past two decades, our teams have supported one of the busiest airports in the world, multi-phase construction and infrastructure programs, high-security data and technology facilities, and public-facing venues and institutions. Across all of it, the work has stayed consistent: show up prepared, operate calmly, communicate clearly, and take responsibility for what happens on site. We continue to evolve by strengthening operational oversight, improving reporting and verification, and integrating new tools where they improve consistency and visibility.

Leadership

Our leadership team brings experience across operations, security, technology, aviation, and public-facing environments—guiding steady growth while maintaining hands-on oversight and accountability.

Supporting Our Community!

We work to support our community via giving time and resources through both committee membership, organization membership, and ongoing community service hours. We believe in the advancement of youth in key industries that we support, including the AGC Diversity Committee and The Aurora Chamber Committee for the Arts; as well as support of Junior Achievement where we work to advance leadership and development of High School Students via classroom volunteer hours.

We give back ongoing to our community through the Annual Colorado Gives campaign providing donations to key non profits throughout Colorado that furthers the support of youth. We also encourage our employees to support those organizations that they support through providing various volunteer hours. This includes support for Homeless Shelters, local nursing homes, Youth Groups such as Friends First, and Jack and Jill of American among many others.
